Pflugerville History
Pflugerville was first settled in by the family of Henry Pfluger in 1849. Shortly after that, a dam was built on Gilleland Creek. The Missouri-Kansas-Texas railroad entered the city in 1904, and the city's first cotton gin was built that year. The Sky Dome Theater was established in 1913 but closed in 1928. The city was incorporated on July 24, 1965.
